The standards we hold, and the lines we won’t cross.
peptides.io turns confusing peptide research into plain language — accurately, and honestly. When the subject is someone’s health, getting the science right and keeping our motives clear is not optional. So we hold every page on this site to four hard promises.
- We never fabricate anything — no invented ratings, reviews, freshness dates, or credentials.
- We never instruct or encourage self-injection of research or unapproved peptides — those are for qualified laboratory research, not for self-use.
- We keep our education independent of our advertising, and label every commercial page as such.
- We cite real, primary sources (FDA, PubMed, peer-reviewed journals) so anyone can check our work.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
Peptides.io is committed to providing accurate, evidence-based information about peptides, telehealth providers, and wellness treatments. Every piece of content goes through a structured editorial process designed to ensure quality, transparency, and trustworthiness.
How We Research
Our editorial team reviews peer-reviewed studies from PubMed, FDA.gov, and ClinicalTrials.gov. Every guide includes cited sources so you can verify the research yourself. When evidence is limited or emerging, we say so clearly.
How We Talk About Evidence
We read the actual research and tell you in plain words how solid it is: well studied, still early, or barely studied at all. When the honest answer is that nothing has good evidence yet, we say that too. No scores, no grades, just a straight answer about how much proof there is.
Safety & Responsible Use
peptides.io is an education site. We explain what peptides are and what the science does and does not show — we do not tell anyone to mix, dose, or inject anything, and we do not sell peptides. Many peptides are sold online “for research use only.” Those are meant for qualified laboratory research, not for people to use on themselves. Approved peptide medicines should only be used with a prescription from a licensed clinician, and you should never inject or use anything that was not prescribed to you.
Editorial Review Process
All content is written and fact-checked by our editorial team before it goes live. Every article carries a “last updated” date, and we re-check it when new research emerges — and at least every 90 days for anything about FDA status or regulation. This is education, not medical advice.
How We Evaluate Providers
When we rank telehealth providers, we evaluate them based on publicly available information including:
- Pricing transparency — is pricing clearly listed?
- Physician credentials — are consultations with licensed physicians?
- Pharmacy quality — is the compounding pharmacy licensed (503A or 503B)?
- Customer experience — sign-up process, shipping speed, support
- Trust signals — LegitScript certification, FDA registration, HIPAA compliance
Editorial Independence
Our guides and provider evaluations are written independently of advertising. Commercial pages — provider comparisons and reviews — are clearly separated from our educational content and supported by affiliate partnerships, which we disclose. Advertising money never changes what our science says, how we describe the evidence, or how we rank a provider.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up with a provider through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences our ratings, our recommendations, or what our guides say. For the full picture of how we make money, see our Advertiser Disclosure.
